What is a call to action?

A call to action (CTA) is a word or phrases such as “click here” or “buy now” that urge your current or prospective golf customers who view your marketing messages to take immediate action.

Why is it important?

Calls to action should be applied across all channels of marketing—whether it’s the push in an email, the buttons on your website, or an image posted to your social channels. Not only is first person content more customer friendly, it engages your golf customers in the process.

CTAs should create a sense of urgency or scarcity with your golf product, (that whole FOMO -Fear of Missing Out) phenomenon. After all, you want your golf customers to take action NOW, not tomorrow. They can also serve as an opportunity to “test the waters” and gauge interest of a new product or service.
